Stray dogs and cats are a huge problem in the community, not only do they rummage through garbage but they can carry diseases and leave their bacteria everywhere making it easy to spread. Living on the streets is dangerous for these dogs and cats. Many of the animals become sick or injured leaving them to suffer until help arrives and many of the animals lose their lives.
The Asociacion Protectora de Animales de Taxco, A.C. are on a mission to help resolve the overpopulation of cats and dogs by spay and neuter. By spaying and neutering a female and a male they are preventing them to repopulate. Once the animal has received surgery Association Protectora de Animales de Taxco will start looking for forever homes for them. It is easier to find homes.
